Nadia is specialised in English language training and Project Management. Since 2019 she has been working as an Interior Design Consultant with the award winning real estate developer Perterer Immobilien.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Technology, Sydney, Nadia worked for several years in the media and advertising industries. In 2008, she relocated to Vienna Austria, where she has since been employed as an English trainer and has been involved in various freelance projects. In 2015 she completed a Master of Arts in Social Design - Arts as Urban Innovation at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. During her Master studies, Nadia completed voluntary electives in Anthropology, Sociology and Urban Studies (Institute of Geography and Regional Research), at the University of Vienna, where she was invited to work as a Tutor by Professor Gerhard Hatz in the Department of Applied Geography, Spatial Research and Planning. She has also been asked to contribute to publications on the topics of female empowerment and sustainability. In 2014 she participated in the Applied Design Thinking Lab with Professor Ruth Mateus-Berr, where she travelled to South Korea to present at the ITCCC Sustainability in Textiles and Fashion Conference. Most recently, she was invited to edit a doctoral thesis (dissertation) on the impacts of parking on the urban fabric of global cities. Nadia has successfully received funding from the District of Margareten and from KulturKontakt for self-organized cultural projects. She was a Co-Founder of the creative platform Oh THAT Place, which was selected by an expert jury to participate in the 'City Work' Social Design format at Vienna Design Week 2016. Following the success of this collaboration, she worked as a Project Manager for Vienna Design Week, Austria's largest design festival in 2017 and 2018. She is an active member of the women's association Sorority. Nadia is fluent in English and German. Nadia grew up in beautiful, sunny Sydney, Australia. She is currently based in Vienna, Austria - the world's most liveable city!
